About the Nurse Practitioner
Angelica Estrella is doctorate-prepared Autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner and a Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP). She holds a DNP (2018), BSN (2013), and Bachelor of Science in Education (2012) from the University of Florida. Born in the Dominican Republic, Angelica immigrated to the United States at age 8 with her parents and three older brothers. She learned English as a second language becoming fluent in both English and Spanish. For Angelica, medicine was never a career choice — it was a calling from the very beginning. She began her clinical journey as a registered nurse on a postpartum, gynecology, and gynecologic oncology unit, caring for women across the lifespan — from the older woman navigating an endometrial cancer diagnosis to the teenage mother bringing her first child into the world. Having been a teen mother herself, she brought a rare and genuine empathy to those moments, offering a grounded perspective and a quiet source of inspiration for young mothers. As her own family grew, her clinical focus naturally shifted toward family medicine — a specialty that reflects both her values and her life. She obtained her MSCP certification to close the gap in knowledge and better serve women navigating the complexities of midlife and hormonal transitions. In her mid-twenties, Angelica discovered yoga, a practice that deepened her belief in the connection between movement and healing. That passion led her to become a certified 200-hour yoga instructor which she now uses to help individuals manage and prevent chronic conditions. Angelica has always known preventative medicine to be the best medicine. Outside the clinic, you're just as likely to find her on the mat, in the gym, or cheering on her own family—living the same balance she hopes for every patient.

Given the prevalence of cardiovascular and metabolic disease, our focus is on prevention through movement, lifestyle modification, and advanced lab screening. We partner alongside you, as part of your health team, to enhance patient care - not replace your primary care provider.
